Bihar deputy chief minister Sushil Modi on Tuesday refused to make statement on deaths of children in Muzaffarpur due to Acute Encephalitis Syndrome. The deputy chief minister said he will only be able to answer questions related to banking sector and other questions will be answered in a separate press conference. Even, the officials were seen enjoying feast after the presser. As many as 113 children have lost their lives due to the disease. Despite assurances from the government, the relatives of the patients claimed that they did not receive adequate help from the authorities to fight the menace.
