Former Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly will take charge as BCCI president on October 23. "First class cricket will remain my first priority," The former Indian cricketer said. Ganguly is supposed to occupy the chair for 10 months. The former skipper said that he would bring back the glory of BCCI. It was being speculated that Ganguly's appointment is a political barter and that he could be projected as BJP's CM candidate in 2021 West Bengal assembly elections. Jay Shah will take charge as BCCI secretary.
