Actress Tanushree Dutta, who spearheaded the #MeToo movement in Bollywood, wrote an open letter, slamming actor Ajay Devgn and the makers of 'De De Pyaar De' for working with Alok Nath. In Tanushree's own words, 'Tinsel town is full of liars, show-offs and spineless hypocrites. And it seems by a large public consensus that the signpost is pointing currently at Ajay Devgn'. The actress also added that it was possible to re-shoot Alok Nath's scenes once the allegations were made public. Further elaborting, she stated that during the #metoo movement in India the actor had tweeted and sworn never to work with those accused and now in a surprising and convenient turn of events is working with rape accused Alok Nath and supporting him make a comeback to Bollywood.
