The headmaster of an upper primary government school in Uttar Pradesh’s Bilaspur has been suspended after he reportedly made students recite, ‘Madrasa chants’ instead of ’Saraswati Vandana’. Identified as Furqan Ahmed, the headmaster was suspended by order of district magistrate (DM), Vaibhav Shrivastav. The action was taken by the DM after the matter was highlighted by local leaders of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
