Ahead of the Lok Sabha poll results on May 23, as people gear up to welcome their new representatives to the lower houses, let's have a look at what the exit polls have predicted for film stars from the Bhojpuri film industry who have switched to politics. If the polls are something to go by, Manoj Tiwari, who is up against Congress' Sheila Dikshit and Aam Admi Party's Dilip Pandey from North East Delhi constituency might return for a second term. As for Dinesh Yadav aka ‘Nirahua’ from the Bharatiya Janata Party who is contesting from Azamgarh against SP's Akhilesh Yadav, predictions suggest that his big debut might end up being a flop. Ravi Kishan, who crossed over from the Congress two years ago, is the BJP candidate from chief minister Yogi Adityanath’s Gorakhpur. While exit polls have suggested that he might have a neck to neck race with the SP’s Ram Bhuwal Nishad, Madhusudan Tripathi from Congress party is seen nowhere close in the race. BJP has been winning this seat for close to three decades now.
