Chennai's Connemara Public Library has thrown open its doors to readers. Readers will be able to browse through rare, century-old books. This is as a part of its week-long celebration of the World Book Day. 300 books are on display; of these, 250 books are more than 100 years old. One of the highlights of the exhibition is works of Rabindranath Tagore, published a century ago. This apart, visitors can also have a glimpse of Latin literature on medicine published in 1553 and Bible belonging to 1608 kept in glass showcase box.
