The market is in the green this morning despite some disappointing economic data and more worries out of Europe. According to the Labor Department, initial jobless claims rose by 6,000 to hit 386,000 for the week ended June 9th. A second report from the Labor Department signals cooling inflation within the US. In corporate news, Nokia will slash up to 10,000 jobs worldwide by the end of 2013. And Pier 1 raised its 2013 outlook.
