New Delhi, Sep 30 (ANI): Acknowledging the judiciary as an important pillar of democracy, BJP President, Nitin Gadkari, today said that judges should take two years off after their retirement in order to resist the lure of being included into committees and probe panels by governments seeking to win their favour. Senior BJP Leader, Arun Jaitley said that judiciary is the lifeline of a democracy, and if people lose faith in it, they lose faith in democracy itself. Meanwhile, Congress Spokesperson, Rashid Alvi refused to comment on the statement.
