August 01 : POCO M8 Power will debut in the Indian market on August 4, 2026, at 12 PM and is expected to be one of the most battery-focused smartphones in its segment.
One of the most appealing features of the POCO M8 Power is its EV-grade 8000mAh battery with silicon-carbon tech that provides enhanced energy efficiency. In addition, it supports 45W fast charging and is claimed to provide up to 8 hours of use after 10 minutes of charging. It also supports 22.5W reverse charging, allowing users to charge other compatible devices.
On the front, the POCO M8 Power features a 6.9-inch AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and up to 1800 nits of peak brightness for rich visuals and improved outdoor visibility. It also incorporates 960 Hz PWM + DC dimming technology to help reduce eye strain during prolonged use.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 processor, built on an efficient 4nm manufacturing process. The smartphone features LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage and supports up to 16GB of RAM. POCO claims the device achieves an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 630,000, making it a capable option for everyday multitasking, entertainment, and casual gaming.
The POCO M8 Power also focuses on durability with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection and an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance. It runs Android 16 and is backed by four generations of Android OS upgrades and six years of software updates, making it one of the most comprehensively supported devices in its segment.
While POCO has already confirmed many of the phone's headline features, details such as the camera specifications, storage variants, pricing, and availability are still under wraps.These details are expected to be revealed during the official launch event and through Flipkart and POCO India's official channels.
