Mumbai, Aug 23 : Actress Raashii Khanna, who was last seen in a special appearance in '120 Bahadur', has completed 13 years in the Indian film industry. The actress said that since her debut with 'Madras Cafe', she has felt time has just flown because she looks at work as a privilege.

The film was released in 2013, and set the stage for her to work across four industries and into some of the most closely followed titles in the country.

Looking back at her journey, the actress said, "Thirteen years is a long time, and it has gone quickly because the work has never stopped feeling like a privilege. Looking back at Madras Cafe reminds me why I started. It gave me the chance to tell stories that matter to me, and I am grateful to every collaborator who has backed me along the way".

Since her debut, the actress has built a body of work across Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam cinema, one of the few actors of her generation to hold ground in all four. The range has been deliberate rather than accidental, and it is what has taken her from a promising first outing to a pan-India presence.

The actress is currently filming the second season of Raj & DK's 'Farzi', in which she is set to return as RBI officer Megha Vyas alongside Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi. The series is produced and directed by Raj & DK, Farzi is a crime thriller built around a disillusioned artist who turns to counterfeiting to escape his financial situation.

The actress will also be seen opposite Rajinikanth in the Tamil action thriller 'Dharman', and opposite Akshay Kumar in Anees Bazmee's next comedy drama.
