September 01 : Vivo is set to launch the T5 5G in India on 02 September at 12 PM. The upcoming smartphone will be the latest addition to the company's T-series lineup and is expected to bring several upgrades aimed at performance, photography, display quality, and everyday durability. Vivo has already confirmed several details of the device ahead of its official debut, while the Vivo T5 5G price in India is expected to be announced at the launch event.
For photography, the Vivo T5 5G will feature a 50-megapixel OIS primary camera with a Sony IMX882 sensor, accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The phone will also feature a 32-megapixel front camera and support Multifocal Portrait capabilities. Both the front and rear cameras will support 4K video recording.
The Vivo T5 5G will pack a 7,050 mAh battery, promising five years of battery health. The smartphone will feature the segment's slimmest 3D curved AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and 449 PPI pixel density. The panel will also offer up to 2,000 nits of HBM brightness.
In terms of performance, the Vivo T5 5G will be Vivo's first phone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset. The company claims the device can achieve an AnTuTu score of over 1.2 million and features the MediaTek NPU 850, which supports Gen-AI capabilities, up to 233% faster on-device AI computing, and MPLA 5.5 AI acceleration.
The Vivo T5 5G will be available in Silver Green and Royal Bronze color options and will feature IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. Vivo has promised three generations of Android OS upgrades and five years of security updates for the device.
With its focus on camera capabilities, battery life, display technology, and AI-powered performance, the Vivo T5 5G expands Vivo's T-series lineup in the Indian smartphone market.
