September 02 : Vivo has officially launched the Vivo T5 5G in the Indian market, bringing a smartphone focused on long-lasting battery life, an immersive display, camera capabilities, and AI-powered performance. The Vivo T5 5G is priced at ₹34,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant in India.

One of the key highlights of the Vivo T5 5G is its 7,050 mAh battery. Vivo claims the device is the slimmest in its segment and that the battery is designed to retain its health for up to five years, making the phone suitable for users who prioritize long-term battery durability.

The smartphone features a 3D curved AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and 449 PPI ultra-high pixel density. Vivo also claims it is the segment's brightest display, with up to 2,000 nits of HBM brightness, offering smoother visuals and improved visibility in bright outdoor conditions.

For photography, the Vivo T5 5G features a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary camera with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 32-megapixel front camera. The camera system supports Multifocal Portrait and 4K video recording on both the front and rear cameras, expanding its capabilities for photography and videography.

The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset, making it Vivo's first smartphone with this chipset, while the MediaTek NPU 850 enables Gen-AI capabilities and is claimed to deliver 233% faster on-device AI computing. The phone also features dedicated MPLA 5.5 AI acceleration.

The Vivo T5 5G is available in Silver Green and Royal Bronze color options and carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. It also promises three generations of OS updates and five years of security updates.

With its combination of battery capacity, display technology, camera features, and AI-focused performance, the Vivo T5 5G aims to offer a well-rounded experience for users seeking a capable 5G smartphone.
