September 14 : Redmi is gearing up to launch the Note 17 Pro series in India on September 15, expanding its popular Note smartphone lineup. The company is expected to reveal additional details about the smartphones, including pricing, during the launch event.
The Redmi Note 17 Pro series is set to focus heavily on battery life, with a massive 10,000mAh battery. The large battery is designed to appeal to users seeking extended usage for entertainment, gaming, photography, and everyday multitasking.
Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 and Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipsets will power the Note 17 Pro series, aiming to offer balanced performance and efficiency for everyday use, multitasking, and demanding applications.
Durability is another major focus of the upcoming smartphones. The Redmi Note 17 Pro series will feature IP69K protection, providing enhanced resistance against dust and water. Redmi is also highlighting TÜV SÜD 5-star Titan Quality certification, reinforcing the series' focus on durability and reliability.
The display is set to be another highlight, with the series featuring a TrueColour AMOLED panel. The screen will support a 120 Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations, while 12-bit colour depth is designed to deliver richer and more detailed colour reproduction.
