September 19 : The realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition is set to launch in India on September 21 at 12 PM. The special-edition smartphone blends the features of the realme 16 Pro 5G with design elements inspired by the Wizarding World. realme is highlighting the phone's camera capabilities, performance, and long battery life, complemented by Harry Potter-inspired design elements.
The camera setup is headlined by a 200MP LumaColor camera featuring Samsung's HP5 sensor with a 1/1.56-inch sensor size. Zoom capabilities include 200MP full-pixel auto-zoom, while Super OIS is designed to deliver steadier shots. It will support 1x and 2x lossless zoom. For wider shots, the smartphone will come with a 112-degree ultra-wide camera, while selfies will be handled by a 50MP front camera.
Powering the device is the Dimensity 7300 Max 5G processor. The smartphone is claimed to deliver a 971,755 AnTuTu benchmark score, according to realme. For gamers, GT Boost is designed to enhance gaming performance and support frame rates of up to 120 FPS in supported titles.
The phone packs a 7,000mAh Titan Battery and supports 80W Ultra Charge, reverse charging, and bypass charging. The company says the phone's battery is built for prolonged use, whether gaming, chatting on WhatsApp, or watching YouTube, and is rated to maintain its health for up to six years.
The smartphone features a 144Hz AMOLED display with a claimed peak brightness of 6,500 nits, HDR10+ support, DC dimming, and a 94% screen-to-body ratio. For durability, the handset will feature IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. It also features a 3000Hz instantaneous touch response for improved touch sensitivity.
