The full moon during this season is believed to bring strong divine energy. Observing the Purnima during this time can bring spiritual blessings and help people cleanse the effects of past karmas. Devotees are encouraged to wake up early, take a holy bath in sacred rivers, perform prayers, and give charity to those in need. Aippasi Purnima 2026 is an important day for worshipping Shiva and Vishnu. Temples perform special rituals like abhishekam, chanting sacred mantras, and offering flowers and fruits to the gods.
In many temples across Tamil Nadu and other parts of South India, special deepam (lamp-lighting) ceremonies are held on this day. When many lamps are lit under the bright full moon, the temples look beautiful and peaceful. This glowing light is believed to symbolize purity, positivity, and divine energy.
May the sacred full moon of Aippasi Purnima 2026 fill your life with peace, prosperity, and divine blessings.
