The research found that regular avocados consumption not only helps to keep your Body Mass Index (BMI) intact but also fight belly fat.  

The results of the study show avocados consumption reduce the chances to become overweight or obese by 33 per cent and people eating avocados have 32 per cent less chances to have an elevated waist circumference when compared to non-consumers. 

Researchers observed that people who eat avocado experienced less weight and a unit less mean BMI with even 1.2 inches smaller waist circumference compared to non-consumers. Furthermore,

Fun ways to use Avocados in your daily diet

A great way to fit Avocado into your weight loss diet is to take a serving of a 50 gram every day with cereals and oats (as per USDA). This can be healthy and will also boost metabolism.

Use Avocados in slices of sandwich or toast that will make it a great headstart to your day. 

Eggs can be boiled, used with Avocados and they can act as a rich protein source.

Use it during summer and try it in salads and blend it into your smoothie to add some depth and extra flavor. 

On a hot sunny day, add avocado to lassi to beat up the sun.
