May 20 : Good food and great fitness regimes seemed to be a must for our new normal life today. Understanding the need of the hour and the way COVID is impacting human lives, Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has come up with a sustainable fitness solution for the older generation. She realized that older people need a lot of care once they cross their 40’s.

This initiative was launched as she realized that her mother – in- law needed more fitness exercises to keep her body, health, and muscles in a good condition. Shilpa Shetty is known to be a fitness lover and has been educating people about yoga and its benefits for all ages. This time, she has designed exercises that even older people can do.

In her post, she briefly explains that a human body reacts to stress in a different manner after 50. So, this needs extra care. This is why she planned a yoga session that was dedicated to 50-year-olds and above. This can be followed via her app named as @shilpashettyapp. This, according to her, will help in reducing joint pains, and also back pains.

If done regularly, the actress mentioned that it will improve blood circulation, strengthen the spine muscles, and also reduce all the pains in the joints. She recommended that while people are staying at home, they should stay fit and healthy amid lockdown life.
