April 28 : It has been more than a year now that all movies are directly releasing on the OTT Platforms and seeing the current covid situation, it looks like audience will take their own time to go for the movies in the theatres. Dhanush's movie 'Jagame Thandhiram' which was all set to hit the cinemas in May is now all set to release on Netflix. 

The film will stream on Netflix from 18 June. The big news was shared on the official page of Netflix India, "Suruli oda aatatha paaka naanga ready! Neenga ready ah? #JagameThandhiram coming on 18th June."

Film Jagame Thandhiram is a tamil action thriller film written and directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by S. Sashikanth and Ramachanda of YNOT Studios, along with Reliance Entertainment. The film stars Dhanush, Aishwarya Lekshmi and James Cosmo.

The film has Dhanush playing a witty and comical gangster named Surili. His fans were eagerly waiting to watch him in this avatar and their wait will be finally over on 18 June as the film will release on Netflix in Tamil alongwith dubbed version in Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi.

On the work-front Dhanush will be seen in Aanand L Rai's Atrangi Re where he will be seen alongside Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan.  The film is all set to release in cinemas on 6 August. He is currently shooting for his Hollywood movie 'The Gray Man'.
