September 20 : Sony Pictures Films India announces their forthcoming slate of releases, lined up for coming 12 months.

Much awaited films such as Looop Lapeta, Major and Nikamma, are all lined-up for release. SPFI will also launch 4 new directors this year as well.

Unfair and Lovely, starring Ileana D’Cruz and Randeep Hooda is now titled ‘Tera Kya Hoga Lovely’. The movie will be a rib-tickling comedy that grapples with India’s unrelenting obsession with fair skin.
‘Dive’ an underwater thriller, Saale Aashiq will mark the directorial debut of writer duo Siddharth -Garima.
Director Sabbir Khan says he has tried to craft a new dimension for action in his upcoming movie Nikamma, which stars Abhimanyu Dassani.
Filmmaker Umesh Shukla helmed Aankh Micholi is also lined-up for release, starring Abhimanyu, Mrunal Thakur, Paresh Rawal, Sharman Joshi, Abhishek Banerjee, Vijay Raaz, Divya Dutta, Darshan Jariwala and Grusha Kapoor.
Adivi Sesh starrer Major, a real-life drama based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, will releases in Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam.
