November 22 : Today, on Friday, actor Nivin Pauly announced that his film Moothon will be released on Nov 22, 2019, in Mumbai, Delhi, Haryana, Andaman & Nicobar. He urged his fans on a happy note to go and watch the movie that would reveal the raw side of the actor. This was a stellar performance from the side of this humble South Indian actor.
A bit of rewind into the origins of the film will give you a better picture of the uniqueness of the Malayalam movie. The film was originally premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. Then exactly after two months, the film found its way into the South Indian theatres on November 8, 2019.
Now for the verdict from the ones who have seen it- was that- this was a splendid movie that was able to capture emotions and film sequences to the fullest. The audience felt that the lead actor Nivin Paul had exhibited extraordinary acting capabilities in this one. For those who would see his look and childishness in Bangalore Days, and the angry college boy in Premam- this one will surely pose to be a fresh and accepted change of character.
The film was the combined hard work of two dreamers cum writers namely Geetu Mohandas and Anurag Kashyap. Geetu Mohandas is also the director of the movie and we need to give big hats off to the technical wizard behind the scenes – Rajeev Ravi. The star cast in this film is extraordinary and includes talents like Roshan Mathew, Sanjana Dipu, Sobhita Dhulipala and many more. In a recent interview with the director Geetu Mohandas, she was all praises for the fine actor. She mentioned that he was the perfect fit for the role.
The film has also been selected as the opening film at the South Asian Film Festival on January 28, 2019. The team is no doubt on cloud nine. This is one film where his talents did all the magic and not his cute smiles. The character Akbar is wild, intense and to see the scar on Akbar’s face ( Nivin Pauly) is surely something that will stay in our hearts as one of his finest performances.
