December 28 : Bollywood churns out hundreds of films every year. While there is a wide disparity between the pay system of the actors and actresses, we cannot deny the fact that the actresses are doing not less than the actors. Here are the top 5 highest earning Bollywood actresses in 2019.
According to Forbes magazine’s India’s list of top 100 celebrities, Aliaa’s 2019 earnings were estimated at Rs 59.21 crore, moving her up the ranking, despite her earnings were almost the same as last year. Aliaa had two releases this year—the successful Gully Boy, and Kalank, which turned out to be a disaster at the box office. Aliaa has several endorsements in her kitty. The actress will be seen in Gangubai Kathiawadi, Brahmastra and Sadak 2, all slated for 2020 release.
Forbes estimated Deepika’s 2019 earnings at Rs 48 crore, which came from endorsements. The actress, who had no film releases this year, slipped down from the ranking this year. The highest paid actress in the country, Deepika failed to make it to the Forbes’ list of highest paid female actors in the world. Deepika is currently gearing up for the release of Chhapaak on January 10, 2020.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who earned Rs 23.4 crore in 2019, climbed up the ranking this year. The actor had one film release this year—The Sky is Pink. A global icon, Priyanka failed to make it to the Forbes’ list of highest paid female actors in the world.
Anushka Sharma, who had no film releases this year, earned Rs 28.67, slipping down the ranking. After her last release Zero failed at the box office, Anushka did not sign any film yet. Sharma has some endorsements in her kitty.
Katrina Kaif’s earnings also dropped this year, taking the actress down the ranking ladder. Forbes estimated her earnings at Rs 23.63 crore in 2019. The actor was featured in the blockbuster film Bharat and in Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero. Currently, she is the face of several brands.
