Durga Puja pandals to be "no-entry zones" for visitors, says Calcutta HC

Kolkata: Barricades put up and security personnel sit outside the Chakraberia Sarbojanin community puja pandal ahead of Durga Puja celebrations, in Kolkata on Oct 19, 2020. This comes close on the heels of the Calcutta High Court's orders on Monday that directed all 34,000 Durga Puja pandals in West Bengal to be made "No-Entry" zone for visitors. All these pandals need to be barricaded in order to prevent large gatherings amid COVD-19 pandemic outbreak.
