Tata Altroz Variants
Tata is about to launch its premium hatchback the Altroz around mid-2019. Altroz made its world debut in Geneva Motor Show in 2019. It is expected to come with the 1.2litre turbo charged petrol engine that it borrows from the Nexon and will be mated to the six speed manual transmission. An automatic variant can also be expected though it is not confirmed.
Altroz comes with a trendy design that features stylish body contours, headlights with daytime running lights and ORVMs with integrated turn indicators. Radiator grille and the tail gate with integrated spoiler and broad bumpers make it stylish. The interior of the Altroz offers futuristic features like the new multi-information display instrument cluster, automatic climate control with rear AC vent and 7”infotainment system with touchscreen are given for the premium look for the interior. Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, advanced technology driver mode selection and park assist system are included for safety and comfort as well.
Altroz is expected in 1198 cc turbocharged petrol engine that is expected to deliver 110PS power and 170Nm of maximum torque. The engine will be mated to 6 speed manual transmission.
Tata Altroz will be positioned above Tiago and it is expected to take on Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20, Honda Jazz and Ford Figo.
