Kawasaki’s Versys 650 is designed for adventure style touring with its long travel suspension, slim upright riding position and compact parallel twin engine which altogether offer maximum riding comfort. 

Slim upright riding position makes the riding easier and allows the rider to spend more time. The compact engine and slim frame that is narrow at the knees and feet and the repositioned foot pegs offer a more relaxed position. The front engine mount is replaced by the rubber mounts to reduce the vibration at the handlebar, seat and fuel tank which increases the comfort as well. The reduced vibration also contributes to increased mirror visibility. Combined with the riding position the wide handlebar offers excellent control. Larger windscreen which can be adjusted without tool, allow the rider to adjust it as per the condition. In styling, Versys 650 gets twin headlamp design which gives it the real Kawasaki looks. The muffler located under the engine contribute to mass centralisation frees up space under the seat. The 649 cc liquid cooled 4-stroke Parallel Twin engine produces maximum power and torque. Long travel becomes tireless with the sleek chassis and single shock rear suspension. Versys 650 comes with Gear indicator which is included as standard. Triple petal disc brakes ensure safety.


The 649 cc, liquid cooled, 4-stroke Parallel Twin DOHC 8 valves fuel injected engine produces maximum power of 69PS at 8500 rpm and maximum torque of 64Nm at 7000 rpm. It has 83 x 60mm Bore x Stroke and 10.8:1 compression ratio. Electronic digital ignition is given with 6 speed transmission. Diamond, high tensile steel frame, 41mm inverted telescopic fork with adjustable rebound damping and adjustable preload and offset laydown single-shock with remote spring preload adjustability provide extreme comfort on long rides.


Versys 650’s front tyre measures 120/70ZR17M/C (58W) and the rear tyre measures 160/60ZR17M/C (69W).


Dual semi-floating petal disc with dual 2-piston callipers in front and single petal disc with single piston callipers in rear ensure safety and it is enhanced with dual channel ABS.


Versys 650 comes with digital ignition; LED headlight, LED tail light and turn signal indicators are included.


Length: 2165mm, Width: 840mm, Height: 1400mm, Wheelbase: 1415mm and Ground Clearance: 170mm. It has 216kg of Kerb weight.
