Kawasaki replaces the Z 800 with the new Z 900; which becomes sharper with its Sugomi design. The super naked bike comes with full fairing body work and new ultra-lightweight frame. The lightweight chassis and the powerful 900 cc engine provide smooth power delivery and excellent handling. The ‘Z’ shaped LED rear light complements its aggressive super naked look; this lights up in Z pattern that contributes to the sporty image. Powerful 948 cc liquid cooled In-Line Four engine has quick revving character and a strong midrange hit. One of the key components of the new Z 900 is its light weight frame that contributes significantly to the bike’s light handling. Inverted front fork and the back link rear suspension provide stability and comfort. The digital instrument cluster consists of speedometer, tachometer, odometer and tripmeter.
The 948 cc, liquid cooled, 4-stroke, In-Line Four DOHC 16 valves fuel injected engine produces maximum power of 125PS at 9500 rpm and maximum torque of 98.6Nm at 7,700 rm. It has 73.4 x 56mm Bore x Stroke and 11.8:1 compression ratio. Electric digital ignition and 6 speed transmission are given. Trellis, high-tensile steel frame, 41mm inverted fork with rebound damping and spring preload adjustability and Horizontal Back-link with rebound damping and spring preload adjustability ensure stability and comfort on long rides.
Z900 comes with 17” alloy wheels; tubeless tyres have measurement 120/70ZR17M/C (58W) in front and 180/55ZR17M/C (73W) in rear.
