Indian leg spinner Anil Kumble was born on 17 October 1970 in Bengaluru, he represented the Indian Test team in more than 132 Test matches and played a vital role in many of Team India's victories. Anil Kumble, nicknamed as 'Jumbo' was called an unorthodox spinner who didn't turn the ball much. Kumble was considered as India’s greatest ever match-winner with 619 Test wickets by many cricket experts. He was awarded the most successful bowler in 1996 World Cup Tournament. On 7th Feb 1999 in Delhi at the Feroz Shah Kotla (Now Arun Jaitley stadium), Kumble became only the second bowler in the history of test cricket after Jim laker to take all ten wickets in an innings.
