Team India skipper Virat Kohli scored his 7th double century in second test against South Africa at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. With his double century Kohli went past Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag, who scored 6 double tons each. The 30-year-old Kohli also became the first Indian captain to hit a double century against South Africa. He also became the third Indian to score a double century against South Africa. The other two Indians who have done that are Virender Sehwag (319 in Chennai in 2008) and Mayank Agarwal (215 in Vizag in 2019).
