It is one of the most prominent temples of the region and the architecture of the temple is a perfect example of the Keralan style of architecture. The Prasad called as ‘Palpayasam’ is sweet milk porridge is extremely delicious. The Sri Krishna Temple is flooded with Hindu devotees all year round.

Krishnapuram Palace is a prominent tourist attractions located close to the Alappuzah Beach. The monument was built in the 18th century by Marthanda Varma, the Travancore king. Constructed in the typical traditional style of architecture of Kerala, the palace is a beautiful destination that is also renowned for its wall paintings.

Pathiramanal is a stunning small island located on the Vembanad Lake. The island can only be reached by means of boat from the Alappuzah Beach. The trip to this striking island is a favourite activity for tourists visiting the beach.
