Tiracol Fort is a prominent and ancient fort of Goa that dates back to the 16th century. It was seized by the Portuguese and reconstructed in the year 1764. Tiracol Fort was also put to use by the freedom fighters during the time of Goa’s liberation. It is located at a distance of about 17 kms from Anjuna Beach on the banks of Tiracol River. Tiracol Fort is now transformed into a heritage hotel.

Albuquerque Mansion is a famous monument known for its octagonal towers and splendid Mangalore tile top. Built in the year 1920, the mansion has a wonderful statue of Dr. Albuquerque. The white stone structure of the mansion is admired by tourists.

Mascarenhas Mansion is a wonderful structure located close to Anjuna Beach. The stained glass floral etching and beautiful balconies of this mansion are the prime attraction for tourists. Mascarenhas Mansion was constructed during the period of Portuguese rule and the influence can be seen in the architectural resemblance of the mansion.

Arambol Beach is another superb beach in Goa located at a distance of 21 kms from Anjuna Beach. The beach is known for its golden sand and spectacular setting. You must not miss out on visiting the beautiful Arambol Beach.

St. Michael’s Church is among the oldest churches in Goa built during 16th century. Located on the Anjuna-Beach road, the church is admired for its resemblance to the Portuguese style of architecture.
