The view of the surroundings from the temple is simply mesmerising.

Another well-known temple of the region is the Ganapati Swayambhu Temple. This temple is an ancient temple that was build around 400 years ago and according to the legend, a farmer found the Ganapati idol in the Kerda jungles and built the temple here. The idol of the deity in the temple is made of pure white sand and is simply beautiful.

Jaigad Fort is located on the cliff close to the River Sangameshwar and is situated from a distance of 35 kms from Ganpatipule. The fort was constructed in the 17th century and offers a panoramic view of the Konkan village the surrounding sea.

Light House offers panoramic view of the surrounding that is simply astounding. The structure was built in 1932 and is located close to the Jaigad Fort. Lighthouse is a prominent landmark that remains crowded with tourists at all times. It is open for public viewing from 4pm to 5:30 pm.

Thebaw Palace is a historical destination around Ganpatipule Beach. This palace was built to provide shelter to the exiled king and queen of Burma for almost five years. Few of the belongings and stone tombs are preserved till date at the Thebaw Palace.
