The Mahabaleshwar Temple is aptly called as the ‘Kashi of the South’. The architecture of the temple is very striking and admired by tourists. During the time of Mahashivratri the temple is beautifully adorned and the festivities are on in full swing.
Maha Ganpati Temple is located very close to the famous Mahabaleshwar Temple. The temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha to honour Him after his victory over Ravana. It is believed that the devotees must first visit the Maha Ganpati Temple and then head to the Mahabaleshwar Temple.
Magod Falls is a splendid sight where the water from the River Bedthi falls from an altitude of 650 feet right into the rocky cavine. The scenic surrounding of the place gives away a very nice feel.
