How to Make Creamy Mushroom Soup

  1. Combine the milk and water in a deep non stick pan and bring to a boil. Keep aside.
  2. Melt the butter in a another deep pan, add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 1 minute.
  3. Add the mushrooms and sauté on a medium flame till they ooze out the juices.
  4. Mix the cornflour in a few spoons of water until it forms a paste like consistency. Ensure there are no lumps.
  5. Add the corn flour mix and sauté on a medium flame for a few seconds.
  6. Add the milk-water mixture little by little and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Add the salt and pepper and bring to a boil.

Tip

You can garnish with grated cheese for the rich cheesy goodness.
